My life is a rich tapestry of interwoven strands that make me who I am today. Brought up in the Home Counties having left my native Wales at the age of 8 in 1966 I was educated at Hampton School, undertook a degree in Law at Queen Mary College, London University, qualified as a Solicitor and then pursued a career in the law for 25 years in the South West of England. In addition, I was ordained as a priest in the Church of England in 1994 and further qualified with an MA in Ecclesiastical Law from the University of Wales Cardiff. I am currently Rector of the West Dartmoor Benefice in West Devon. I have a degree in Photography from Plymouth College of Art (2011).
I enjoy living life to the full. Who I am and what I do in life is the inspiration for my work which is eclectic in output as I learn more and more. My faith is the primary and pre-eminent set of spectacles through which I view the world.
I have exhibited at Duchy Square Centre for Creativity, Princetown, Devon - Now & Again (2010); The Royal Western Academy of Art, Bristol - Open Photography 2 (2011),Photo España Descrubimientos 2011 where my work was chosen for portfolio review and Archisle The Jersey Contemporary Photography Programme in St Helier, Jersey (2011).
I enjoy many forms of work – from fine art, portrait work and commercial work and I am happy to discuss your individual requirements and accept commissions. I strive to provide a personal and professional service.
